Located just outside of Sapporo in Hokkaido Japan, Terminal Tune Station exists as the transfer point from city to nature. As snowboarders venture towards the urban outskirts into the mountains, they are entering another plane. Where time slows down, and the powder quickly piles up. The heavily surf-inspired culture of snowboarding in Japan emphasizes the art of the turn. Aesthetic lies within the act of riding itself, and the rider’s interaction with the natural landscape. Mimicking the contours of terrain, the Terminal logo represents the expansive result of being in harmony with nature.
Open year-round, Terminal provides rentals, repairs, coffee, and retail. The team serves to prepare those looking to play and unwind in nature. A gathering place to begin and end the journey.
