Hosted at Crystal Mountain Resort in Mt. Rainier National Park, Cascadia Splitfest is a local splitboarding festival created to interconnect and celebrate the backcountry community.
Extending backcountry awareness, a series of brands bring their latest demo gear to try out. Clinics are hosted to teach backcountry and uphill travel education. Pro Guiding Service runs an AIARE companion rescue course, as well as an intro to splitboard clinic, and guided shredding tours in and out of bounds.
The mission of Cascadia Splitfest is designed to inspire connections in the backcountry, and encourage human-powered adventures. Splitfest is a gathering inclusive enough for beginners and backcountry buffs alike.
The celebration ends with a raffle fundraiser for Northwest Avalanche Center and apres at The Snorting Elk Cellar.
