Location Scouting in New Zealand for Backcountry and their new custom touring line. The team needed locations that were two hours or less away from the Queenstown airport, and that could fulfill a shot list that brought fellow gearheads ‘into winter’.
Our responsibility was to find local models to fit product samples, and that were advanced backcountry skiers and/or snowboarders. Being new to the area, locations needed to achieve shots within a time constraint of less than two weeks. We supplied the team with a detailed document outlining areas most worth shooting during their time.
